What we have done

As a result of events carried out on the frame of EcoPrint project currently total sum of planted trees are133 . On May 10, of the 2019 year by the commission of foreign citizens in the area of the Baku State University were planted 10 different ornamental plants: 3 individuals of crape myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica) by the Turk; 1 Weigela florida and 1saucer magnolia (Magnolia x soulangeana) by the Australian;1 scarlet bottlebrush (Callistemon citrinus) and 1 Chinese wisteria (Wisteria sinensis) by Afghan; 1 winter mimosa (Acacia dealbata) by Egyptian; 2 Japanese spirea (Spiraea japonica) and Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii) by Canadian. Moreover, to the 100-th anniversary of Baku State University by the initiative of the faculties Geography, Biology, Ecology and soil science, Physics, International Relations and Economy, Social science and Psychology, Chemistry, Geology, Journalism and Oriental studies 100 examples of sweet almond trees were planted in Ahan village of the Ismayilli district on the 12 May in 2019. Besides, on the 14-th May of 2019 by the commission of the Enactus team of BSU 23 examples of different orchard trees were planted in the yard of Ecological Lyceum № 291 and was given as a present to the pupils. During held info session with pupils, it was proposed to give fruits of these trees in the future to the orphanages.

Any individual or legal entity from any part of the world chooses local environmental or socio-economic problems in the territory of Azerbaijan and its associated areas, the type of tree suitable for this area, and payment for planting these trees. Then the person gets a certificate of planting trees (where the tree's GPS coordinates are indicated), and the gift is sent as a donation.
